Everything you need from an auto refresh extension

Presets or custom intervals

Choose 5s, 15s, 30s, 1m, 5m or 10m, or set any combination of hours, minutes and seconds.

Hard refresh

One toggle skips the browser cache on every reload. Essential for pages that serve stale content.

Auto-start for a page

Turn it on and the timer starts automatically every time you visit that URL. No clicks needed.

Per-tab timers

Each tab runs independently. Different intervals on different tabs, all running at once.

Countdown ring

A visual ring shows exactly when the next refresh will happen. Pause any time with one click.

No account, no limits

Auto refresh works the moment you install it. No sign-up, no usage caps, no premium tier.

How to auto refresh a page in Chrome

  1. Install the extension. Add Auto Refresh & Page Monitor to Chrome. It takes a few seconds.
  2. Open any page and pick an interval. Click the extension icon, choose a preset or type your own hours, minutes and seconds.
  3. Press Start. The countdown ring appears. The page reloads when it reaches zero, then starts counting down again.

Toggle Hard refresh to skip the cache, and Auto-start so the timer runs whenever you revisit the page.

Need more than a refresh?

If you want to close your laptop and still get notified when a page changes, the same extension includes AI page monitoring. Describe what you're waiting for in plain English, and our servers check the page on a schedule — even with your browser closed. Alerts come via email, WhatsApp or Telegram.

Questions about auto refresh

Is auto refresh free?

Yes. The auto refresh timer is completely free with no limits and no account required. Only AI page monitors are paid.

Does the tab need to stay open?

Yes. Auto refresh runs inside your browser, so the tab needs to remain open. If you want monitoring without keeping a tab open, use a page monitor instead.

Can I refresh multiple tabs at once?

Yes. Each tab has its own independent timer. Set different intervals on different tabs and they all run at the same time.

Does it work in Edge and Brave?

Yes. It works in Chrome and any Chromium browser that installs extensions from the Chrome Web Store, including Edge and Brave.

Will it bypass cached pages?

Yes. Turn on the Hard refresh toggle and the extension skips the browser cache on every reload, so you always see the latest version of the page.

Can the timer start automatically when I open a page?

Yes. Switch on auto-start for a page and the timer begins as soon as you visit that URL, without clicking anything.
